Introducing Dr Alex
Dr Alex, is a medical doctor working across Emergency Departments, Urgent Care Centres and General Practice across Vic, Australia. In addition, Alex attends racing and extreme sports events as well as being an active Director for an emergency first aid response and training organisation. Alex also holds a degree in Paramedicine and lectures paramedic students at Monash University. He conducts a great deal of research, with more than 60 peer reviewed publications, as well being the author of several textbooks, and editor of two books.
Despite all this, his greatest passion and joy however is helping patients implement a healthy lifestyle and reversing diabetes, insulin resistance, inflammation and obesity, among other conditions. All in the pursuit for optimal healthspan
Alex, being the scientists he is, is committed to collect analyse and put-to-use a large repository of evidence-based dietary and lifestyle choices to optimise healthspan. He keeps a daily eye on the emerging literature in this space and strives to spread this to the members. He also offers a few appointments of one-on-one consulting to help define and improve your healthspan. Due to the extensive in-depth nature of the consultations involved in generating a thorough healthspan report, we are only taking a few new patients per week at the moment.
